State of the Catox: June Update

So! Long time since I’ve put out a proper update. So, here’s a good 2013 update known as State of the Catox!

Professional:

So, turns out once I got out of school, it didn’t take long for a local, regional bank that covers the Southern region between Texas and Florida to catch me and bring me into their group. After interning there for about 6 months, I was invited to take a salaried position and thus started a rather fun job as an IT Help Desk worker internally. Despite that being a barrel of monkeys to enjoy, I’ve already applied for a higher paying position to the Networking team, so this could get quite fun.

Personal:

Despite all of this, I’ve been able to keep my overall distress levels rather low! Daily things happen and leave me a bit frazzled, but nothing that caries on for anything further than said day. I’ve otherwise been lucky, keeping my parents abreast of my plans of moving to Orlando within a year, and they happily let me stay and live with no cost besides helping with the upkeep of the house.

Romantic:

So, most of you know that I’ve been dating Drenthe at every possible opportunity. That’s actually a big reason that’s driving me to move to Orlando; to have more time to enjoy with him. I did finally make a trip over in his direction to visit, but it was a bit hampered by some latent stress, him having to move, and it was my first exposure to a rather huge furmeet, the Jax Picnic. That said, we’ve got something working. I absolutely can’t wait to see him more often; hanging out with him is way too enjoyable, and I keep wanting more.
